Don't Step on the Cracks!

After reading Quilt Date for April by Kathleen Loomis, I decided to try this technique on my purple-yellow quilt. I started my experiment by piecing together yellow fabrics and added narrow purple strips. I then pieced purple strips. Next I laid the purple strips on top of the yellow piece and sliced through the layers randomly and rearranged them. More details on the blog.
